SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi collaborated with PT Xinyi Trading Group to hold a pitching seminar and robot services demonstration aimed at introducing students to the latest developments in robotics technology.
The event, held at the Mutu Edutel hall, was attended by students from the Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL) and Mechatronics departments. Through this seminar, participants gained insights into the use of service robots in the industrial sector, covering basic concepts, technology implementation, and career opportunities in automation and robotics.
In addition to the seminar session, the activity also featured a live demonstration of service robots. Students had the opportunity to observe how the robots operate and directly experience the technology demonstrated during the event.
The program also included a pitching session where students presented ideas and innovations related to the development of robot services. This session aimed to improve students’ communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking in facing the advancement of technology-based industries.
Representatives from PT Xinyi Trading Group also shared the importance of preparing human resources with competencies in technology and automation. As industries continue to evolve, the use of robotics is becoming increasingly important in supporting operational efficiency and productivity.
Through this activity, students are expected to become more prepared for the future workforce and better equipped to adapt to the development of modern industrial technology.
